Mayor Villanueva commends 2 Bocaueños for getting recognition from PHACTO

Mayor Eduardo “Jonjon” Villanueva Jr. of Bocaue, Bulacan has hailed two Bocaueños who received awards from the provincial government for their contribution in history, arts, culture, and tourism. The Provincial History, Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office gave recognition to Gemma Esguerra-Cruz and Francisco dela Cruz.

Mayor Pascual suspends classes, gov’t work in Gapan City on April 26

Gapan City Mayor Joy Pascual has ordered the suspension of classes in all levels for both public and private schools and work in government offices in the city on April 26. Under Executive Order No. 05, series of 2024, Pascual noted that the Diocese of Cabanatuan has officially announced the granting of “Minor Basilica” to La Virgen Divina Pastora on the said date.

Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando has welcomed the launching of the National Fiber Backbone – Phase 1 (NFB-P1) wherein the province is one of the beneficiaries. The National Fiber Backbone is the first and only government-owned infrastructure of its kind in the country that will offer digital connectivity to more than 3,000 Free Wi-Fi Sites, enabling approximately 750,000 beneficiaries in Regions I, III, and National Capiral Region to access the internet directly.

Lazatin admin provides complete uniforms to Angeles City CLRAA athletes

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. has ordered the distribution of a complete set of uniforms to the city’s student-athletes who will participate in the upcoming 2024 Central Luzon Regional Athletics Association (CLRAA) in Tarlac. The uniform includes playing shoes, parade polo shirts, joggers, hoodies, bags, caps, and travel mattresses.

Caluag admin discusses measures amid extreme heat in San Fernando City

The San Fernando City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council under the leadership of Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag has conducted a quarterly meeting to discuss the plans and programs amid the extreme heat being felt in most parts of the country Caluag was represented by Acting City Administrator and City General Services Officer Engr. Michael Quizon Jr. in the recent meeting, which was also attended by Mayor BJ “Tiger” Lagman, Acting City Information Officer Jay-ar Hipolito, and CDRRM Officer Raymond Del Rosario as Head Secretariat.

Mayor Inton leads inauguration of new evacuation center in Hermosa

Mayor Antonio Joseph “Jopet” Inton has led the opening of the new evacuation center in the municipality. Joining the mayor in the ribbon-cutting and blessing of the evacuation center at Pleasant Homes, Barangay San Isidro Wednesday, April 17, were officials from the Derpartment of Public Works and Highways, Department of Health, Department of Social Welfare and Development and other local officials.
