Members of the Local Committee for Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children of Tabaco City, Albay recently visited San Jose del Monte for benchmarking practices.

A total of P1.765 million was distributed to over 300 residents of Malolos City for working under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay para sa Displaced/Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD). Mayor Miguel Alberto T. Bautista and the other local government officials joined Senator Francis Tolentino in the release of the payment to the TUPAD workers on Tuesday, June 11.

Mayor Rodriguez extends cash, rice allowance to Capas cops, firefighters

The local government of Capas, Tarlac led by Mayor Roseller “Boots” Rodriguez has provided the quarterly cash and rice allowance to the police and firefighters in the municipality. A total of 95 personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and 32 members of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) received the assistance recently.

The Olongapo City government led by Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. has extended financial assistance to 20 “graduates” of the conditional cash transfer program in the city. The City Information Center (CIC) said each of the “lucky” beneficiaries, who were graduates of the “Pugay Tagumpay” Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) from 17 barangays in the city, received P10,000.

Citing initial reports, the City Information Office (CIO) said San Pedro Barangay Captain Mat Ryan “Gazin” Dela Cruz and his driver Henry Aquino were shot dead at a gasoline station in Barangay Del Pilar on Tuesday afternoon, June 11.

Tarlac Governor Susan Yap has remembered the patriotic act of her late father, former Congressman Jose V. Yap, and his colleague in Congress to defend the country’s sovereignty over the Scarborough Shoal. On her Facebook page, Yap posted the photo of her father and former Ilocos Norte Rep.
