Limay LGU provides potable water, hygiene kits to evacuees

The local government of Limay, Bataan has distributed potable water and hygiene kits to the evacuees affected by flooding in the municipality.

The Municipal Health Office (MHO), led by Sanitary Inspector John Rey Amado, continues to monitor the evacuees’ situation.

“Bilang bahagi ng pagpapanatili ng kalinisan at kalusugan, isinagawa ang pamamahagi ng potable water at hygiene kits upang matiyak ang access ng mga evacuees sa malinis na inuming tubig at pangunahing hygiene supplies,” the local government said.

The MHO will continue to address the situation immediately and provide health services for the safety and welfare of people, it said.

Some residents in Limay have to evacuate due to continued rains brought by weather disturbances.
